WHERE EVERY NOTE PLAYED AND EVERY DOLLAR RAISED CREATES A MELODY OF HOPE FOR OUR TINIEST PATIENTS

Supporting Newborns and moms at the Beaman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Labor and Delivery, and Postpartum at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown

In 2010, the Ascension Saint Thomas Foundation collaborated with music industry veterans Connie Bradley and Troy Tomlinson to launch Rock the Cradle to set the stage for raising crucial financial support for Middle Tennessee newborns and moms by harnessing the star power of Nashville’s country music community. From its humble beginnings at the Loveless Barn, Rock the Cradle grew into a marquee event on Nashville’s charitable calendar.

And now, after a five-year hiatus, Rock the Cradle will once again take center stage in fall 2025 at Nashville’s newest music venue, The Pinnacle at Nashville Yards.

A private concert that only Nashville can offer, Rock the Cradle features a cocktail and dinner reception and live auction. The featured headliner will be announced the week of June 9, 2025. Past headliners include Wynonna Judd, Jake Owen, Old Dominion, Martina McBride and Faith Hill.

Rock the Cradle’s Co-Founder

Connie Bradley was a beloved and visionary force in Nashville’s music community, best known for her more than three decades at the helm of ASCAP Nashville. As Senior Vice President, she helped launch and nurture the careers of some of country music’s greatest icons—Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, George Strait, Brad Paisley and many more. Connie didn’t just sign artists, she believed in them, forming deep, lasting bonds and championing their talents with passion. Her influence helped shape a generation of country music.

Connie's generosity extended far beyond Music Row. As a devoted board member of the Ascension Saint Thomas Foundation, she channeled her compassion into supporting the most vulnerable among us, including the newborns in the Beaman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

In 2010, she co-founded Rock the Cradle alongside fellow industry leader Troy Tomlinson, rallying Nashville’s music community to support life-saving neonatal care. Thanks to her vision and heartfelt commitment, Rock the Cradle has raised more than $1.5 million to support the NICU and obstetrics services at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital.

Connie Bradley’s legacy is one of heart, harmony, and hope—a true champion for both country music and the causes that mattered most to her.
